Architecture by Morgante Wilson Architects

This cozy and inviting modern mountain retreat is located in the skier's paradise of Park City, Utah.

The interior design of this home was heavily influenced by the architectural details to invoke a cozy and inviting mountain-living space. We provided comfortable seating for the family of 5 or for a larger gathering.

Directly open to the great room, this stunning kitchen blends harmoniously with the lounge and dining areas as a subtle backdrop rather than a busy-looking focal point. Appliances are stored away with easy access, outlets are cleverly concealed and the back-splash, cabinetry and tile finishes employ the same color palette as other surfaces of the room creating a warm relaxing environment.

The 2nd floor office, featuring leather lounge chairs by Baker sit on a natural wool rug by Oscar Isberian, provides a cozy and quiet get-away from the otherwise inviting group seating seen throughout the rest of the house.

In the master bedroom, Vanguard furnishings featuring Jacques B. fabric are accented by Holland & Sherry pillows are the center of attention. Alabaster table lamps give the nightstands a pleasant glow and compliment the blue and cream area rug from Lapchi, the walls are papered in custom grass-cloth from Phillip Jeffries.

The master bathroom includes a custom, silk-wrapped light fixture from Aqua Creations. The Primo window treatments are with fabric from Flair21.

A lower level family room was designed to feel both cozy and inviting. Ample seating is provided by an L-Shape Sectional from Nathan Anthony and a double chaise from Lee Industries and upholstered with a Perennials fabric. All the throw pillows were provided by Romo and the warm, blue morroccan rug is from Oscar Isberian. Lighting was provided by Kuzco.
